ProCell MD is available as an add-on to selected light resurfacing and CO2 treatments.
I apply the Cellular Renewal Serum directly to the skin immediately after selected treatments such as very light resurfacing and certain CO2 treatments.
This is not a cream that I put on afterwards as home care. It is the actual treatment solution I apply immediately following the procedure. That distinction is important, because I am using it at a very specific point in the treatment.
I particularly love ProCell for mature or sun-exposed skin, especially when I'm treating someone in their 60s or 70s and I want to be thoughtful about how their skin responds and recovers. As we age, the skin's repair and regenerative processes change, so I'm not always interested in simply increasing the intensity of a treatment.
I can use it after selected light resurfacing and CO2 treatments when I think the skin will benefit from that additional support.
ProCell isn't something I automatically add to every treatment. I'll leave it out if the skin is actively infected, significantly inflamed, or not in a condition where I'm comfortable performing the underlying laser or resurfacing treatment in the first place. I'll also consider what else we've recently done to the skin, because sometimes the best thing we can give it is simply time to recover.
I'm also careful with the timing of the application and the specific ProCell formulation we're using. It has to make sense for the treatment we've just performed and for the skin in front of me. If I don't think it adds value, I won't add it simply because I can.
ProCell MD Cellular Renewal Serum, ProCell Therapies
I particularly like applying it after a very light resurfacing treatment or, when appropriate, after one of my deeper CO2 treatments, when the skin has been deliberately treated and is ready for a carefully selected topical protocol.
ProCell MD Cellular Renewal Serum
$200 add-on
It is not offered as a standalone treatment. I use it selectively when I believe the skin will benefit from this additional step as part of the overall treatment protocol.
The exciting part is that we don't have to use exactly the same treatment modality each time. Depending on your skin and what we are trying to achieve, I can use different modalities throughout the course, for example, light resurfacing or selected CO2 treatments, and incorporate ProCell MD when it is appropriate.
The treatment can evolve with your skin. That means we can keep working towards the same overall goal while changing the way we stimulate the skin from one treatment to the next.
