This laser-assisted treatment is designed for problematic and congested skin.
It is a laser-assisted treatment for congested and problematic skin that uses a specialised booster solution containing gold microparticles, which then interacts with the laser energy to create a controlled thermal effect.
The treatment uses a Korean gold solution, which is applied to the skin and then activated with light to support its intended effects.
Not right for anyone with an active skin infection, open wounds, significant irritation or a current cold sore outbreak. I'd also ask you to wait if your skin is sensitised from another treatment or if you're feeling unwell.
Every treatment carries some risk. I go through the risks and the recovery with you at your consultation before we begin.
Please tell me about anything your doctor has prescribed for you, including any skin treatments, before we start.
I apply the gold solution directly to the skin first, then use ultrasound to work the solution into the skin for approximately 10 minutes. Once that preparation is complete, I use my Nd:YAG long-pulse laser over the treated area as the activating part of the treatment.
The solution contains gold microparticles, which act as an additional chromophore for the laser. The idea is that the laser energy interacts with those particles to create a controlled photothermal effect, allowing me to work more selectively within the skin. This is what makes this treatment different from simply applying a serum before a laser, the solution and the laser are designed to work together as one treatment.
The gold particles convert the light into targeted heat, without traditional ablative treatment or significant downtime.
$650, Full Face
Includes the complete treatment applied to the entire face.
For the full protocol, I recommend a course of 5 to 6 treatments rather than expecting one treatment to do everything. The goal is clearer, calmer, less congested skin, not simply an instant glow.
It's a comfortable treatment and doesn't require numbing cream.
Yes. Makeup can be applied afterwards, making it an easy treatment to fit into your schedule.
